As a continuing worldwide health challenge, sepsis remains a priority focus for bedside clinicians and medical science. High sepsis mortality rates persist, particularly for patients with organ dysfunction. In this webinar, clinical nurse specialist and sepsis expert Maureen Seckel will review the newest updates to the “International Guidelines for Management of Sepsis and Septic Shock” and help you translate them for your nursing practice. Published by the Surviving Sepsis Campaign — a partnership between the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine and the Society of Critical Care Medicine — these guidelines are widely recognized as best practice in caring for patients diagnosed with sepsis and septic shock.
